When You’re Lost — Listen.

We’ve all been there.

Things stall. Revenue plateaus. Inspiration feels flat.

You’re working harder, but something’s off. And in those moments, the instinct is to do more.

Push through. Fix it. Figure it out.

But sometimes, the smartest move is to stop. And listen.

Not to the trends. Not to the experts. Not even to your inner critic.

Listen to the quiet part of you that knows. The part that remembers why you started.

That voice gets drowned out when we’re overwhelmed—but it’s still there.

Here’s what I’ve seen work—both for myself and the entrepreneurs I coach.

A Simple 5-Step Practice to Listen When You Feel Lost

1. Step back.
Create a little space. You can’t hear clearly if you’re always reacting.
Take a walk. Turn off your notifications. Sit in silence.

2. Ask better questions.
Try these:

  • What feels like it’s no longer working?
  • What part of me am I ignoring?
  • What would feel more aligned right now?

3. Write it down.
Put pen to paper. No filter. Don’t worry about grammar or making sense—just write.

4. Look for the signals.
Read it back. Notice what stands out. A pattern. A word. A wish you’ve been pushing aside.

5. Choose one clear next move.
Don’t wait for the big plan. Take one action that honors what you heard.

Send the email. Block the time. Say no. Say yes.

That’s how you find your way back—not all at once, but step by step.

If this speaks to you and you want some support in reconnecting with your direction, I’d love to help.
