As Citrus Studios, a comprehensive digital agency, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with the Pacific Neuroscience Institute (PNI) for four incredible years. This collaboration has seen us managing PNI’s social media presence, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube.

Additionally, we have been involved in the collaborative launch and ongoing maintenance of the Think Neuro podcast, the production of the PNI monthly newsletter, video editing, arranging photo shoots, and providing detailed, analytics-based reports.

Our mutual aim with PNI was to amplify its digital presence across a variety of platforms, engage a wider audience, and foster informed discussions on neuroscience. To begin, we conducted an in-depth audit of PNI’s existing social media landscape, working to establish a unified brand voice and content strategy across all platforms. We curated content unique to each platform’s specific demographics and characteristics, incorporating informative posts, patient experiences, advancements in treatments, behind-the-scenes peeks, and promotion of the Think Neuro podcast.

In collaboration with PNI, we were part of bringing the Think Neuro podcast to life. We worked together on concept development, production, and promotion, inviting expert guests to cover a range of neuroscience topics to attract both the general public and medical professionals.

Simultaneously, we overhauled the monthly PNI newsletter to resonate with the new brand voice, highlighting the latest neuroscience news, PNI updates, and podcast excerpts. This newsletter served as an effective medium to channel traffic towards PNI’s social media platforms and website.

Throughout these four years, our joint efforts have reaped substantial success. PNI’s social media platforms have seen impressive growth in follower counts, impressions, and engagement rates.

The Think Neuro podcast regularly attains high ranks in the medical category across various podcast platforms. Moreover, the newsletter’s open and click-through rates have shown significant improvement.
