Basecamp is the foundation of Citrus’s project management system.

Your project includes the tools all teams need to work together; message boards, to-dos, schedules, docs, file storage, real-time group chat, and automatic check-in questions.

Basecamp works on all platforms and is integrated with your email so that any changes, updates, even mock ups can be quickly accessed.


Emails are the quickest and most familiar way to keep everyone in the know. However, it can be easy to lose track and stay on top of organization. We have implemented the use of systems such as Basecamp, Google Calendar, and Trello to help. These platforms are integrated to send notifications to your emails so you never miss a beat.

Google Calendar

Google Calendar allows us to quickly send invites to any meetings, due dates and special events. 

You will received scheduled invites that you can easily access on all mobile and desktop platforms. Google Calendar allows you to set reminders and notes to help manage your busy schedule. 

Citrus will include all relevant information such as date, time location and additional instructions.

Virtual Meetings

For our virtual meetings, presentations, and any time we need to have face-to-face discussions, Zoom is our platform of choice.

Zoom is free and accessible anywhere on any device.

It’s reliable, easy to use, and allows us to connect with each other and with you, no matter where we are.


Internally, we use Slack to as a supplement to help facilitate the development process with user friendly card system that easily allows us to track and assign tasks.

Slack is a powerful messaging app that allows us to create different channels for various topics, making sure our conversations are organized and easy to follow.


Hubstaff is a simple application that your virtual workforce installs on their machines to track time, activity levels, and take screenshots. Our team can select a project, and Hubstaff will then track time and activity to that specific project, which becomes viewable in the web application.

We use this to make sure that we are efficiently using our time and improve our productivity.


We also use Trello to as a supplement to help facilitate the development process with user friendly card system that easily allows us to track and assign tasks.


Figma is one of our go-to tools for crafting and sharing designs before the actual website development begins. 

It’s a versatile and user-friendly platform that allows our team to collaborate in real-time. One of the standout features is the ability to place live comments on various sections of each design page. This interactive commenting system streamlines feedback, enabling quick iterations and clear communication among designers, developers, and stakeholders. 

With Figma, we ensure that every design element is refined and agreed upon, setting a solid foundation for the website’s development phase.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe Creative Cloud is a collection of 20+ desktop and mobile apps and services for photography, design, video, web, UX and more. This is where we create, design and bring to life your vision.

It’s our bread & butter.

All art and design files will be based in the Adobe CC software.
